Dreams  I  Bless Your Hands

‘Bless your hands’ is an initiative aiming to create a feminine Israeli-Jordanian space, that promotes and preserves traditional crafts, and supports the social-financial wellbeing of the participants.

The project constitutes a platform connecting 40 Israeli and Jordanian female artists through handcrafts, joint production, business development and professional training sessions. At the end of the fleece season in Jordan, large amounts of wool contaminate the Safi Valley. The Jordanian women collect the wool and together with the Israeli artists, they felt large surfaces of wool in different sizes, which are painted by the Israeli women with leaves, peels, and flowers of the willow tree. The end product is made of wool and 100% natural materials, a one-of-a-kind piece created by the joint work of the Israeli and Jordanian women.
