Wheat Field   Meirav Cohen

The pages of the books unfold into a field of grains, which is made of words and images, and can go on forever. A look at the wheat field reminds the artists of her feelings towards nature: how small she contrasts with its infinity, and thoughts about the relationship between the individual and his environment.

The Paper cutting changes the book characteristics. From two-dimensional content it turns three-dimensional, so the connection between the book and its content disconnects, which allows the book to have other meanings of depth, movement, light, and shadow. All this raises questions about the use of text in our time.
