The piece is a part of a series, presenting the rug motive and its connection with nature, and its relationship with the body. It deals with the materialistic image of the rug, emphasizing the physical presence of the object and the dominant presence, in which the rug is different from other objects from the home the artist grew up in.

By detaching the rug from its natural place and placing it elsewhere, based on Foucault’s term “Heterotopic space”, the rug turns neutral. Its presence on those directed scenes was replaced by the presence of the female body. It is in fact a role switch between the object and the subject.
